Shipping policy


Package Inspection

All orders must be opened and inspected for accuracy upon receipt. Items missing or incorrect from your order, please notify within 24 hours by calling customer service at 817-469-9100 or emailing order@allamericanballoons.net. Customer calls and emails are responded to during our customer service hours, Monday-Friday 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Voicemails and emails will be returned next day when outside of customer service hours. All American Balloons will cover the cost of exchange of product and shipping to correct the mistake made by our team (including next-day air delivery). There could be a difference in cost to customer to correct or substitute the correct product from original order because of brand, bag count, or style. A new shipping label will be sent to customers email address to print. Affix to box of item returned. All return labels are issued through United States Postal Service, drop off at nearest USPS service center. Use ORDER NUMBER to reference return. In the occurrence that UPS makes a mistake and delivers a damaged package or loses a package a claim will have to be filed by the the customer/company to recoup the product and shipping cost. 

If an order is NOT inspected and reported within 24 hours upon delivery. All American Balloons will not be liable for next day air or any rush service fees. All American Balloons will only cover costs for standard ground shipping after the 24 hour period has passed. If an issue is not reported within 72 hours after delivery, All American Balloons will not be liable for any shipping fees.

  

Oversized Package Rates

When shipping oversized packages, you may pay a higher rate. These rates take into account the overall size of the package rather than the weight. Carriers use dimensional (DIM) weight to accommodate lighter packages that take up extra cargo space. Carriers consider oversized packages to be over 108 inches but not more than 130 inches in combined length and girth. In some cases we may contact you to cover additional shipping costs if the amount of shipping paid does not cover the freight. 

Any package shipping over water via ship or airline and count as oversized may require an additional shipping fee invoice. All invoices and notifications will be emailed to the email provided at checkout. Make sure you enter the correct email address and that it is active otherwise you will not get your order notifications.

Shipping Costs: When choosing your shipping service on large or odd shaped items, the system may not calculate the correct shipping cost. In situations like this we will contact you to pay the additional cost to ship the item out. We will cover up $5 of an overage shipping cost when not calculated correctly. If the additional cost to ship the item is more than that, then the customer will have to pay the additional cost, choose another shipping service, or cancel the order.

Upgrading Shipping:

In the event that you need your packaged sooner than the estimated UPS ground shipping time frame you can call our facility and upgrade your shipping for an additional cost for Next Day Air services. Next Day Air service will deliver the package in 1 business day, Monday-Friday. In the event that we send your package out within our shipping parameters and the package is not delivered on time we are not liable. Please keep in mind all of our shipping policies when choosing the Next Day Air service.

USPS Ground Advantage (2-5 day shipping) ships through the United States Postal Service and will take up to 2 business days to process within our facility Monday-Friday plus the shipping time.

Shipment Delayed

All American Balloons uses the UPS and USPS services, we are not affiliated with either company nor do we have control over the way they run. We can not anticipate or prevent delays, lost packages, damaged packages, closures or any unexpected issues within the UPS or USPS companies or take financial responsibility for any issues arising at the fault of either service. 

Once an order (package) leaves our facility and is picked up by the carrier it is out of our control. If a package is delayed due to the carrier and not our company, you will need to file a claim with the shipping carrier for a refund on the shipping fees/package. When a package shows to be delivered at the customer's address, but they can not find the package you will need to file a claim through the shipping carrier, once the package leaves our facility we have no control over delayed, lost or stolen packages. If the package arrives after your event due to a delay and you selected a guaranteed service, please refuse the package and request to have it "Returned to sender". Once we receive the order a refund will be issued back to the original payment method.

If any of your packages have been lost or stolen we suggest that you chose to require a signature upon delivery for your packages. You can request we add this to your shipping by adding it in the "order instructions". Click here for instructions on how to add a note to your order. Please keep in mind that UPS will allow anyone to sign for the package. We suggest that you always have your package delivered to a single building address if possible. 

International Shipping: We ship worldwide, due to the package having to go through customs we can't give an estimated transit or delivery time frame. Each customs port has unique regulations, once the package leaves our facility it is up to the shipping service to deliver the package. You can expect a 3-5 business day processing time within our facility, plus transit time. 

  • Refunds on international orders will exclude Shipping Cost, Taxes and Duties fees
  • Refund will only be issued on product - shipping cost, taxes, and duties will be lost 
  • Packages are shipped via DHL or Postal Service - tracking information can be found on your Shipping Confirmation Email or SMS Message.
  • Shipping costs, taxes, and duties are automatically determined by the shipping service based on your region upon checkout

Guaranteed Services

USPS Priority Mail Express, UPS 2nd day, and UPS Next Day Air. Guaranteed by the service provider, if your package is not delivered on time you will have to submit a claim through UPS or USPS.  All options are an estimated delivery time and are not subject to a refund if they arrive after the shipping date shown at checkout. See the UPS Ground map for estimated shipping times. All UPS shipping timeframes are estimated, it is best to order days in advance to ensure you receive your product on time. 

USPS Priority Mail Express: Next Day to 2 Day Guarantee by 6PM (domestic shipping service delivers 7 days a week, 365 days a years within limited exceptions. Next Day delivery is available to most US addresses and PO boxes. 

Important: Next Day Air Early must be at UPS by 10:30AM CST Monday-Friday, we have to take the packages to the hub (our regular UPS pickup time is 5:00PM CST. If you choose UPS Next Day Air Early we must have the order no later than 8:30AM Monday-Friday for it to go out in time. Any packages placed after 8:30AM CST will be processed the same day we receive the order, but the package may not arrive early morning the next day.

UPS Next Day Air: 1 business day, delivered by 12:00PM-1:30PM 

UPS Next Day Air Saver: 1 business day, delivered by end of day 10PM

UPS Next Day Air Early: 1 business day, delivered by 10AM

UPS 2nd Day Air: 2 business days, delivered by the end of day 10PM

Standard Shipping- $9.99 Flat Rate: Standard shipping is going to be the cheapest service available through UPS for your area. If Flat Rate doesn't show up at checkout then it is not available for your area. It may be UPS Ground or UPS Ground Saver, UPS Ground Saver takes longer. If you need your package quickly we suggest paying for UPS Ground instead of choosing the standard flat rate.

Orders are processed Monday-Friday between 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM Central Standard Time. We do not process orders on Saturday, Sunday and posted Holidays. All closures will be posted to our website and social media prior to the closing date. Unexpected inclement weather, power outages, or technological issues could cause us to close unexpectedly which may create a delay in your order being processed.

All UPS shipping times are estimated, please keep that in mind when making an order. We ask that you give us 1-2 business days to process all paid shipping orders and 3-5 business days (this does not include estimated shipping time) to process free shipping orders.

Business days refers to Monday-Friday, this excludes Saturday and Sunday. 

UPS does not deliver on Saturday and Sunday in most areas, please keep that in mind when choosing your shipping date and service. 


Shipping Cut-Off Times

Paid Shipping: Orders typically go out within 1-2 business days, Monday-Friday (during business hours- 8:30AM-5:00PM CST). All orders must be placed by 2:00 PM (CST), Monday-Friday, to qualify for same day shipping. Processing and shipping times may vary due to the volume of business, unexpected closures or outages. Please give us 1-2 business days to process your order within our facility. Orders placed after 2:00 PM (CST), Monday-Thursday, will be processed the following day. Orders placed after 2:00 PM (CST) on Friday will be processed the following Monday. This cut off time includes all forms of paid shipping. Orders including USPS, UPS Ground, Next Day Air options, and 2nd Day Air placed on Saturday and Sunday will be processed the following Monday as we are closed on the weekends unless we are closed for a Holiday. All Holiday closures will be posted to our website prior to the closure. USPS Ground Advantage (2-5 day shipping) ships through the United States Postal Service and will take up to 2 business days to process within our facility Monday-Friday plus the shipping time.

Note: Same day shipping window is 1-2 business days, we typically get orders shipped out the same day if the order is placed no later than 2:00PM CST, but if we are having a high volume day your order may not go out the same day. The earlier you place the order, the better. We process all packages in the order they are received. Placing your order in advance will help ensure you receive your package on time.

  • Please keep in mind that all paid shipping orders may take 1-2 business days (from the time we receive the order) to process plus your individual transit time. Business days exclude Saturday and Sunday. 
  • During the holiday seasons it is best to order ahead of time and prepare for a 2 day processing time period plus transit time. Placing your orders in advance will help ensure you get your package in time. 
  • Keep in mind that the more you pay for shipping the faster your package will be delivered, below all shipping services are outlined. Services are not guaranteed, they are estimated time frames. Claims can be filed for "late" delivery or "lost" packages, but the shipping service will have to approve the claim before costs are refunded. 
  • We do not have control over the transit time, once the package leaves our facility it is up the the shipping provider to deliver the package within their company paramotors. 



Free Shipping: Ships via lowest cost and takes 3-5 business days (Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00PM) for processing within our facility. The 3-5 business day processing time does not include the estimated shipping time. Free Shipping orders take longer to process, we suggest that you pay for shipping if you are on a deadline. Free Shipping orders may go out faster than the 3-5 business days when our volume of business is low, but please always assume it will take 3-5 business days plus the estimated shipping time. If you place a Free Shipping order and you realize you need the order faster you can call our facility and request to upgrade your shipping, we will then charge you for shipping and the order will go out that day. Free shipping rates only apply to the lower 48 states, states not included (Alaska and Hawaii) will be charged shipping cost. Free shipping only applies to within the United States.

Free shipping is only available for orders placed online by the customer. If our reps have to build the order and send an invoice via email, then the order will not qualify for free shipping. Free shipping will also be ineligible for orders containing excessively heavy weight or are packaged in oversized boxes including, but not limited to, electric pumps, Bow Makers, Ribbon Printers, etc.

UPS Services vary in shipping times, there are multiple options to choose from. Keep in mind our operational hours and processing times. Shipping costs increase with speed of delivery. Packages leave our facility at 5:00PM CST Monday-Friday. UPS does not deliver on Saturday is some areas.

UPS Next Day Air: 1 business day, delivered by 12:00PM-1:30PM 

UPS Next Day Air Saver: 1 business day, delivered by end of day 10PM

UPS Next Day Air Early: 1 business day, delivered by 10AM (estimated)

UPS 2nd Day Air: 2 business days, delivered by the end of day 10PM (estimated)

UPS 3 Day Select: 3 business days, depending on the area you live in- delivered by the end of day 10PM (estimated)

Standard Shipping- $9.99 Flat Rate: Standard shipping is going to be the cheapest service available through UPS for your area. If flat Rate does not show up at checkout then it is not available for your area. It may be UPS Ground or UPS Ground Saver, UPS Ground Saver takes longer. If you need your package quickly we suggest paying for UPS Ground instead of choosing the standard flat rate.

Why didn't my order ship? (order has not left our facility) :

  • We do our best to ship orders out (Monday-Friday) within 1-2 business days, depending on the volume of business, same day shipping is considered 1-2 business day. Always, keep this in mind when placing your order. Placing the order earlier in the day will help ensure it goes out same day as we process all packages in the order that they are receive. 2:00PM CST is our deadline (Monday-Friday), we do not print any orders after that deadline. Any order placed after 2:00PM CST will be processed the next business day.
  • Sometimes our inventory is off and we are missing product from orders, in this situation we always contact each customers to make them aware and offer a substitution or refund. If we can not reach the customer we will not ship the package until we speak to the customer directly
  • We may have received the order after the cut off time or on a day that we are closed see operational hours above (when this happens we will process and ship the package on the next business day within our operational hours) 
  • You chose Free Shipping - Free shipping orders are shipped UPS ground and can take up to 3-5 business days to process within our facility + the transit time
  • We need to speak to a customer regarding their order, but there is no contact information on the order. For example the contact information is not correct
